An adult parent in an oatmeal-grey crewneck seated calmly at a quiet kitchen counter with a MacBook and a ceramic mug, soft warm daylight.

The parent dashboard

What your child did today, in five minutes.

Designed for the moment between coffee and dinner — short, calm, honest. Three surfaces: Today, Mastery, Consent. Nothing else competes for your attention.

What you see, every day

Three surfaces, no notifications.

No badges, no streaks, no nudges to come back. Open it when you want — it will be quietly waiting.

  • Today

What your child worked on, what they talked about with the tutor, and what comes next. A short calm read.

  • Mastery

Per-domain progress with three honest tones: mastered, frontier, struggling. A weekly velocity, not a leaderboard.

  • Consent

Exactly what we collect, why, and how to change it. Includes the consent moments we recorded on your device.

The Today surface

What you'll read at 5:42 pm on a Tuesday.

Today · Tuesday, October 14

Marcus · Grade 3 · 1h 18m

Marcus worked on multiplication today. Specifically, the relationship between repeated addition and the times-table. He got 4×3 immediately, struggled with 7×6, and asked the tutor to explain “the pattern part” twice. The tutor stayed.

Marcus read about the Mars rover. The interest profile says space, so today’s reading passage was 312 words on Curiosity. Comprehension check: 4 of 4. Marcus told the tutor he wants to read more about “the cameras Curiosity has.”

Marcus told the tutor about a sibling’s soccer game. Conversation went on for 11 minutes. The tutor listened, asked one follow-up about who scored, and gently brought the session back to the day’s closing recap.

Tomorrow: a continuation of multiplication, this time with arrays. A short reading passage on Mars rover cameras.

Every word above is generated by the tutor at the end of the session — based on what actually happened. No marketing language. No filler.

The Mastery surface

Where your child is, in three honest tones.

Mastered

47 concepts

Your child has shown understanding of these. They're out of regular practice rotation but get periodic recall checks.

Frontier

9 concepts

Your child's current edge — the place where lessons are pitched. Most of the daily time goes here.

Struggling

2 concepts

Concepts where the tutor noticed sustained difficulty. We surface this clearly so you can decide whether to step in.

The Consent surface

Every category. Every change. Every export.

Click any category to see exactly what we hold, why, and how to change it. The same surface lets you export your child's full record or request deletion (we complete within 30 days).

  • Account & identity

Your name, email, phone, billing. Required to operate the academy.

  • Your child's first name & age

Used by the tutor to address your child by name and to pick age-appropriate content. Required.

  • Lesson interactions

Every conversation your child has with the tutor, every answer, every pause. Required for the academy to teach.

  • Interest profile

Topics your child lights up about. Used to make readings + examples relevant. You can edit any entry.

  • Voice (optional)

Off by default. If you turn it on, your child can talk to the tutor instead of typing. Voice is processed in real time and not retained.

  • Verification record

The fact that you verified, the timestamp, the issuer. We do not retain the ID image after verification.

Every entry has a “why” expander, a “change” control, and a record of every consent moment we’ve already captured for it.

See the dashboard during your application call.

We’ll walk you through what your view will look like after your child’s first week — using a placeholder profile, no real data.
